Debbie McFalone draws on her experience as a teacher, principal and superintendent to inform her personal mission of empowering and equipping today’s educational leaders.   She is a sought-after facilitator of adult learning, a leadership coach, and keynote speaker known for inspiring and motivating her audiences.

Debbie studied for four years with the Harvard Change Leadership Group, building a deep understanding of leading during times of exponential change.  She is a co-author of the Michigan Elementary and Middle School Principals Association Leadership Matters Program, an intensive yearlong learning program for leaders, which she has co-facilitated since its beginning in 2009. Debbie facilitates the Instructional Leaders Institute through Michigan ASCD and has presented nationally on the topic of “Difficult Conversations”. She has been an adjunct instructor in the College of Education at Michigan State University, and has led learning sessions for hundreds of teachers, principals, superintendents, and school boards in over 60 districts and intermediate school districts in Michigan and Wisconsin.

Debbie holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, where her dissertation focused on courage and integrity in leadership.
