Dr. Keely Mounger’s career in education began in the parochial arena in Genesee County as a Principal and Assistant Principal and then to public school Principal positions at Westwood Heights where she was appointed Superintendent. In 2011, she served as Executive Director of Health, Safety, and Nutrition Services for Genesee Intermediate School District before serving as Deputy Superintendent for Genesee Intermediate School District. Dr. Mounger also served as the Superintendent at Coleman Community Schools in Midland County.
 

Throughout her career, Dr. Mounger has utilized her leadership skills and initiative to instill new directions in the districts where she served. She has played an integral part in district restructuring, building fund equity, additional programs and services for students, and facilities improvement and expansion. 

Dr. Mounger has earned degrees from Michigan State University, Loyola University, Saginaw Valley State University, and Center Michigan University where she completed her Doctorate of Education in 2011.
